Plan of Salvation

1. God Loves You Very Much

The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  This means God loves everyone.

2. You Are A Sinner

The Bible says in Romans 3:10, "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one."  This means that no one is perfect, we all have faults.  Also, in Romans 3:23, the Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."  This is saying that you and I have both sinned at some point in our life.

3. Sin Has A Penalty

In Romans 6:23 the Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death."  This means that the price for our sin is death.  This death is the second death.  Revelation 20:14-15, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."  There is no work in the flesh that you or I can do to pay for our sins.

4. Christ Paid Our Penalty For Us

Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  The second part of Romans 6:23 says, "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  This is the good news.  Jesus Christ paid for our sins when He died on the cross of Calvary.  First Peter 2:24 says, "Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

5. What You Must Do To Be Saved

For you to be saved you must realize that God loves you, you are a sinner and your sin has the penalty of death.  You must also beleive that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, paid your sin debt in full for you.  Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man beleiveth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  God will save anyone who will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and make Him the Lord of their life.

Would you trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour today?

You can pray this prayer while under Holy Ghost conviction:

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and I deserve to go to hell to die for my sins.  I believe you died on the cross to pay for my sins, I believe your were buried, and three days later you arose from the grave.  I believe with all my heart and trust in you alone for my salvation.  I ask you to cleanse me from my sins, come into my heart and be the Lord of my live, and give me eternal life.

Amen
