January/February 2022

Dear Pastor, Church, and praying friends,

We marvel at the faithfulness of God and the faith that he gives his people to trust and follow him even in such trying times as we are in this day and hour. With all that is going on in the world today, you folks stand faithfully by us with your prayers and financial support. We are grateful and we take nothing for granted, knowing that God is helping you to do what you do.

As we ended our last letter, we both had Covid and the Lord helped us through those almost three weeks, though Covid left us with some side effects, cough, cough, etc. I have been busy with VA appointments, getting check-ups, meds changed, x-rays, etc. I have been diagnosed with COPD and AFIB after episodes in February. I am doing well now and covet your prayers that I remain strong and continue the work God has called us to do.

We are waiting on our container to arrive, hopefully by mid-March. It was delayed in Europe for some time, but now it’s on the water heading for Savannah GA, as we were notified last week. We are looking forward to getting moved in and set up here in Connelly Springs, NC.

We were able to update four of our supporting churches in February and we have filled our calendar for March. We are scheduling updates beyond and hopefully we can be with some of you before too long. Please pray for Pastors and Churches, as you know, because of Covid many churches have limited their services.

With all that is going on in Ukraine, many of our Troops have been deployed to Europe to the surrounding areas of Ukraine, therefore, we ask you to be in prayer for their safety and for the Ukrainians. Only God knows how all this will play out and we must look to him with faith.

My life’s verse: (John 4:34) “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” My desire is to do God’s will and to finish his work!

Love and Prayers,
