Our Testimonies

I was born May 15, 1950 in LaGrange, Georgia. I joined The Marine Corp in May of 1968 and went to Vietnam in December of 1968. I was saved by the grace of God on April 23, 1972 at Peoples Baptist Church, in S.E. Atlanta, Georgia, under the preaching of Pastor Charles E. Wright.   On January 25, 1975, I was called to preach the gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.  After preaching 30 years in pastoral ministry as senior pastor, I accepted God's calling, in the early Spring of 2012,  to be a missionary to our Military,  I am an Independent Baptist, and a conservative fundamentalist in preaching, music, singing, living, using only the KJB as rule, faith and practice.

I married Patricia D. Parrott on September 6, 1968. Patsy was saved two weeks after I was at the same church and has stood at my side all these years in ministry. We have two children, five grandchildren, and one great grandson. I attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennesse, and graduated in 1978. I pastored two Chapel Churches while attending Tennessee Temple University.  I pastored New Testament Baptist in Fayetteville, Georgia from 1981 until 1993 and Fellowship Baptist Church in Wytheville, Virginia from 1994 until 2010.

The Lord has called us into Missions with BIMI in Chattanooga, Tennessee to work with our Military overseas. We will be church planting, pastoring Military churches, soul winning, equipping the saints.

We began full time deputation on April 15, 2012.  The Lord has opened many doors for us. We give God all the glory and praise!

Our first term was in Mehlingen, Germany at Heritage Baptist; 2013-2016.

Our second term is in Utrera Spain reaching our Military at Moron Air Base with a new church plant (Victory Baptist Church)  December 2018-present.
